Southern Beauty Competition
This is our Christmas themed event and the favorite for many. It always happens in December. This is the only "state qualifier" we hold. This means that cash prizes are awarded to the queens to use at the state event. If you win at this pageant, it is NOT mandatory you compete at the state pageant, but if you are not serious about completing the pageant stages from beginning to end (being state and nationals) you should leave the competition to those that need the cash help for the state event.
This pageant is run very similar to the state pageant, so competing at this one is great practice and will give you an edge of comfort when you go to state. It is open to anyone who wants to compete.
Competition categories are:
Christmas outfit (anything goes, but nothing too costume like),
Formal,
Private panel Interview,
20 sec Personal Intro (optional),
Talent (Optional but mandatory to win Grand Champion),
Photogenic and
Cover Girl.
